Marketing Plan: Through my performance in a local educational DVD entitled "Internet Predators" by Donald Varda, speaking at schools, and presenting a forum to the community on Internet safety awareness, I hope to bring to the forefront the issue of Internet predators and the danger they pose to children today. Computer and software companies, local and national government officials, as well as educators and parents, are obligated to protect our nations children. I believe that through the Miss America's Outstanding Teen Organization, I would have an opportunity to reach a broader audience in which to motivate the companies and public officials to take a lead in combating Internet predators by developing mandatory school programs on Internet safety. I would also like to develop public service announcements for both children and their parents to educate them on the availability of software programs that monitor children's Internet activities and help protect them against predators.
