Are you Indiana's next outstanding teen?

To become Miss Indiana's Outstanding Teen, a contestant must first win a local competition and then compete to represent her state, a process requiring personal commitment, hard work and talent. To compete in the MissIndiana's Outstanding Teen program, you need commitment, perseverance, talent and ambition.

Find a Local teen Pageant in Your Area

Local pageants in Indiana are divided into two categories, closed and open. Closed pageants are defined by groups of counties or by a university. Open pageants are available to any young women who meets the eligibility requirements in Indiana.

Are you eligible?

The eligibility requirements for Miss Indiana's Outstanding Teen are as follows:

  • Be a young lady between the ages of 13 and 17
  • Be a United States citizen.
  • Meet residency requirements for competing in a certain town or in Indiana.
  • Meet character criteria as set forth by the Miss America's Outstanding Teen Organization.
  • Be in reasonably good health to meet the job requirements.
  • Be able to meet the time commitment and responsibilities as set forth by the local program in which you compete.
  • Must not be eligible to compete in the Miss America Competition.
  • Areas of teen competition

    You will compete in the following areas of competition:

  • Interview: 8 minute personal interview
  • Talent: 2 minute talent
  • Activewear
  • Evening Wear / On-Stage Question
  • Scholastic Achievement (Only at the State and National level)
